     Major John Altham Hotham was born on 4 June 1913.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Clarence Hotham and Margaret Emily Anne Wilmer.² He married Osra Aubrey Porteous, daughter of W/Cdr. H. B. Porteous, on 16 May 1939.¹ He died in July 1942 at age 29 at North Africa, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Tank Regiment.¹

      MS.¹ W/Cdr. H. B. Porteous gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹

     Osra Aubrey Porteous was the daughter of W/Cdr. H. B. Porteous.² She married Major John Altham Hotham, son of Lt.-Col. John Clarence Hotham and Margaret Emily Anne Wilmer, on 16 May 1939.¹ She died on 16 February 1944.¹
      From 16 May 1939, her married name became Hotham.

     Aileen Mary Margaret Hotham was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Clarence Hotham and Margaret Emily Anne Wilmer.² She died on 2 December 1932, unmarried.¹

     Charles John Crossley was born on 23 December 1921.² He is the son of John de Bathe Crossley and Dorothy Frances Cayley.³ He married Catherine Adelaide Anne Dyer, daughter of Gabriel Noel Dyer and Adrienne Catherine Legard, on 2 March 1957.¹ He married Catherine Adelaide Anne Dyer, daughter of Gabriel Noel Dyer and Adrienne Catherine Legard, on 2 March 1957.²
     He was educated Nautical College Pangbourne.² He was Lieutenant Royal Navy Reserve WW II.² He lived in 2003 at Linda Cruises, Cosgrove Lock, Milton Keynes, Bucks MK19 7JR.²

     Reverend Ernest Whately-Smith was born circa 1834.² He married Dorothy Ada Calkin, daughter of George Calkin and Emily Mary Riviere, on 15 April 1912 at Plomesgate, Suffolk, England.² He died in 1964 at New Forest, Hampshire, England.²
     He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹

     Elizabeth Heneage was the daughter of George Heneage and Elizabeth Hemloke.¹ She married Cuthbert Constable.¹ She died in 1766.¹
