     George Meares was born in 1829 at Lyndhurst, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of John Meares and Charlotte Owen.1 He married Mary Poynder, daughter of Reverend William Poynder and Frances SHephard Littley, on 30 July 1861 at Southampton, Hampshire, England.2 He died on 26 November 1884 at 2 Stanhope Gardens, Bournemouth, Dorset, England.2

     Grace Moorwood was the daughter of Gilbert Moorwood.1 She married Simon Bennett, son of Richard Bennett and Elizabeth Cradock.2 She died circa September 1694, murdered by a butcher and his apprentice who had broken into her house.2
     Her married name became Bennett.2 She was also known as Grace Morehead.2
