     Benjamin Bowes Walrond was the son of John Dickinson.1 He married Frances Walrond, daughter of William Henry Walrond and Mary Alford, on 6 July 1815.1 He died on 15 July 1851.1
     He was given the name of Benjamin Bowes Dickinson at birth.1 On 22 April 1845 his name was legally changed to Benjamin Bowes Walrond.1

     William George Hood Walrond, 2nd Baron Walrond was born on 30 March 1905.1 He was the son of Hon. William Lionel Charles Walrond and Hon. Charlotte Margaret Lothian Coats.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Patricia Blackader, daughter of Captain G. Blackader, on 6 June 1932.1 He and Margaret Patricia Blackader were divorced in 1934.1 He married, secondly, Betty Carr, daughter of Sir Emsley Carr and Jenny Lascelles Carr, on 16 September 1936.1 He and Betty Carr were divorced in 1952.1 He married, thirdly, Valantine Anderson, daughter of E. O. Anderson, on 17 December 1954.1 He died on 4 April 1966 at age 61.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Waleran, of Uffculme, co. Devon [U.K., 1905] on 17 March 1925.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Walrond, of Bradfield, Devon [U.K., 1876] on 17 March 1925.1 He was Asisstant Private Secretary to the Governor-General of New Zealand between 1927 and 1930.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1

     James Samuel Pitman was born on 5 December 1806 at Plymouth, Devon, England.2,3 He was the son of James Pitman and Catherine Harris.3 He married Elizabeth Cole, daughter of Reverend W. Cole, on 18 June 1850.3 He died in 1868 at St. Thomas, Devon, England.2
     He lived at Dunchideock House, Devon, EnglandG.4 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon.2
