General Peregrine Henry Fellowes was born on 18 July 1821.2 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Fellowes and Mary Anne Catherine Humphreys.2 He married Caroline Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas John Forbes, on 3 December 1846 at Walcot, Bath, Somerset, England.2 He died on 22 November 1891 at age 70.2

Phyllis Angela Rosamond Morant is the daughter of George Morant.1 She married, firstly, Captain Arthur Reynolds before 1910.1 She married, secondly, George Sydenham Clarke, 1st and last Baron Sydenham of Combe, son of Reverend Walter John Clarke and Maria Frances Mayor, on 4 November 1910.1
She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 From before 1910, her married name became Reynolds.1 From 4 November 1910, her married name became Clarke.1 After her marriage, Phyllis Angela Rosamond Morant was styled as Baroness Sydenham of Combe on 12 February 1913.
