     Joanna Douglas was the daughter of Sir William Douglas.² She married Sir William Dick, 4th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Dick of Prestonfield, 3rd Bt. and Mary Butler, on 3 March 1786 at Paris, France.^2,3 She died on 4 November 1794 at Prestonfield, Midlothian, Scotland.^2,3
     From 3 March 1786, her married name became Dick.¹
