     Margaret Balfour was born on 11 June 1737.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Balfour and Ann Lowe.2 She married James Balfour of Kilmany, son of James Balfour and Janet Farmer, on 20 October 1764.1 She died on 19 June 1824 at age 87.1
