Mabel Thorpe was the daughter of William Edward Thorpe.2 She married Sir Rowland Frederic William Hodge, 1st Bt., son of John Rowland Hodge and Emily Davis, on 28 March 1895.1 She died on 10 August 1923.1

Peter Rowland Hodge was born on 24 October 1915.1 He was the son of Sir Rowland Frederic William Hodge, 1st Bt. and Mabel Thorpe.2 He married, firstly, Mia Macklin, daughter of Sir Noel Campbell Macklin, on 5 May 1940.1 He and Mia Macklin were divorced in 1945.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Norma Plow, daughter of Harold Plow, on 12 July 1951.1 He died in 1982.1
He gained the rank of officer in the 2nd Commando Brigade.1
