Captain James Gilroy Annan was born on 27 November 1886.1 He was the son of John Annan and Marion Gilroy.1 He married Fannie Mildred Quinn, daughter of Thomas Sylvester Quinn, on 12 March 1913.1 He died on 31 May 1965 at age 78.1
