     Jean Knox Woods is the daughter of James Woods.¹ She married Colonel Alfred William Bewley, son of Alfred Bewley, in 1903.¹
     From 1903, her married name became Bewley.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Hugh Boscawen was born on 2 December 1851.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Townshend Boscawen and Mary Tremayne.² He was baptised on 18 January 1852 at St. Ewe, Cornwall, England^G.³ He married, firstly, Katherine Isabel Hughes, daughter of Reverend John W. Conway Hughes, in 1876.¹ He married, secondly, Ellen Parker, daughter of Henry Parker, on 15 September 1886.¹ He married, thirdly, Teresa Catherine Gerkens, daughter of C. Gerkens, in 1896.¹ He died on 20 April 1937 at age 85.¹
     He fought in the Ashanti War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the New Zealand Army.¹

     Reverend John W. Conway Hughes was the Vicar at Nydd, Leeds, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Katherine Isabel Hughes was the daughter of Reverend John W. Conway Hughes.² She married Lt.-Col. John Hugh Boscawen, son of Rev. Hon. John Townshend Boscawen and Mary Tremayne, in 1876.¹ She died in 1884.¹
     From 1876, her married name became Boscawen.

     Hugh Townshend Boscawen was born in 1880.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Hugh Boscawen and Katherine Isabel Hughes.² He married Kathleen Crowe, daughter of Richard Crowe.¹ He died in 1917, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the New Zealand Infantry.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Richard Crowe was Secretary of the Education Board at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹

     Kathleen Crowe is the daughter of Richard Crowe.² She married Hugh Townshend Boscawen, son of Lt.-Col. John Hugh Boscawen and Katherine Isabel Hughes.¹

     Patricia Boscawen was born in 1910.¹ She is the daughter of Hugh Townshend Boscawen and Kathleen Crowe.²

     Valentia Maud Boscawen is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Hugh Boscawen and Katherine Isabel Hughes.² She married Major James Skitt Matthews on 29 January 1899.¹ She and Major James Skitt Matthews were divorced.¹
     From 29 January 1899, her married name became Matthews.
