Felton Frederick William Hervey was born on 12 March 1826.1 He was the son of Colonel Lionel Charles Hervey and Frances Mary Wells.2 He married Eleanor Augusta Killowen Acheson Lyle, daughter of Acheson Lyle, on 4 September 1855.1 He died on 31 March 1861 at age 35, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 13th Light Dragoons.1 He was Inspector-General of Prisons, Ireland.1
