     John Hamilton Hussey Vivian, 4th Baron Swansea was born on 1 January 1925.2 He was the son of Odo Richard Vivian, 3rd Baron Swansea and Hon. Winifred Hamilton. He married, firstly, Miriam Antoinette Caccia-Birch, daughter of Anthony William Fabio Caccia-Birch, on 19 April 1956. He and Miriam Antoinette Caccia-Birch were divorced in 1973. He married, secondly, Lucy Gough, daughter of Rt. Rev. Hugh Rowlands Gough and Hon. Madeline Elizabeth Kinnaird, on 2 December 1982. He died on 24 June 2005 at age 80.3
     He was Freeman Gunmakers' Co, memb Cncl Nat/l Rifle –99, pres: Welsh Rifle Assoc, Commonwealth Shooting Fedn, Shooting Sports Tst Assoc 1955.2 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Powys 1962.2 4th Baron Swansea of Singleton.2 He was educated Eton and Trin College Cambridge.2 He gained the title of 4th Baron Swansea. He was Dato Seri Laila Jasa (Brunei) , Companion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.) 1994 in 1971.2
