     John Head was born circa 1701.1 He was the son of Dawes Head and Jane Taylor. He married Hannah Wickins, daughter of Reverend Edmund Wickins.1 He died in 1739.1

Sir Edmund Head, 6th Bt.1

     Sir Edmund Head, 6th Bt. was born in 1733.1 He was the son of John Head and Hannah Wickins.1 He married, firstly, Mary Raineau, daughter of Daniel Raineau, in 1771.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Western, daughter of Maximilian Western, on 12 May 1796.1 He died on 21 November 1796, without further issue.1
     He emigrated arriving on circa 1764 emigrated to America.1 He was a merchant at Charleston, South Carolina, U.S.A.G.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Head [E., 1676] on 4 December 1769.1 President of the Charleston Court of Trade and Commerce.1 He was He was selected as a member of Congress on the outbreak of the War of Independence but was a loyalist so banished and his property forfeit.1 Before 1794 he returned to London.1

     Rev. Sir John Head, 7th Bt. was born on 3 January 1773.1 He was the son of Sir Edmund Head, 6th Bt. and Mary Raineau. He married Jane Walker, daughter of Thomas Walker, on 8 October 1801.1 He died on 4 January 1838 at age 65.1
     He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Head [E., 1676] on 21 November 1796.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.1 He was the Rector at Rayleigh, Essex, EnglandG.1 He purchased the Wiarton Place estate, Boughton Monchelsea, Kent before 1801.1
