     John Alban Head was born on 7 December 1873.2 He was the son of Henry Head and Hester Beck.1 He was baptised on 28 December 1873 at St. Mary, Stoke Newington, London, England.2 He died on 8 June 1931 at age 57 at Ruthin Castle, Denbighshire, Wales.2

     Sir Henry Head was born on 4 August 1861.1 He was the son of Henry Head and Hester Beck.1 He was baptised on 4 August 1862 at St. Mary, Stoke Newington, London, England.2 He married Mary Ruth Mayhew, daughter of Reverend Anthony Mayhew, on 28 April 1904.1 He died on 8 October 1940 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.).1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was registered as a Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.).1 He was invested as a Knight Bachelor in 1927.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).1 He lived at Hartley Court, Reading, Berkshire, England.1
