     Captain Hon. George Hope was born on 12 April 1811.2 He was the son of General John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun and Louisa Dorothea Wedderburn.2 He was baptised on 22 April 1811 at Abercorn, West Lothian, Scotland.3 He married Hon. Anne Carmichael Napier, daughter of Captain William John Napier, 9th Baron Napier of Merchistoun and Eliza Cochrane-Johnstone, on 29 April 1847.1 He died on 14 November 1854 at age 43.2
     He was Royal Navy.1

     Hon. Anne Carmichael Napier was the daughter of Captain William John Napier, 9th Baron Napier of Merchistoun and Eliza Cochrane-Johnstone.2 She married Captain Hon. George Hope, son of General John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun and Louisa Dorothea Wedderburn, on 29 April 1847.2 She died on 28 May 1877.2
      From 29 April 1847, her married name became Hope.1

     Hon. Louis Hope was born on 29 October 1817.1 He was the son of General John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun and Louisa Dorothea Wedderburn.1 He was baptised on 10 December 1817 at Abercorn, West Lothian, Scotland.2 He married Susan Frances Sophia Dumaresq, daughter of William John Dumaresq, on 12 October 1859.1 He died on 15 August 1894 at age 76.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1

     Susan Frances Sophia Dumaresq was the daughter of William John Dumaresq.1 She married Hon. Louis Hope, son of General John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun and Louisa Dorothea Wedderburn, on 12 October 1859.1 She died on 4 December 1901.1
      From 12 October 1859, her married name became Hope.1
