     Mary Gray was the daughter of Abraham Gray.2 She married John Scandrett Harford, son of Edward Harford and Sarah Scandrett, on 9 February 1780.1 She died on 29 July 1830.1
     From 9 February 1780, her married name became Harford.

     Abraham Gray Harford-Battersby was born on 1 November 1786.1 He was the son of John Scandrett Harford and Mary Gray.2 He married Elizabeth Gray Dundas, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Eleanora Elizabeth Home, on 11 May 1816.1 He died in May 1851 at age 64.1
     He was given the name of Abraham Gray Harford at birth.1 In 1815 his name was legally changed to Abraham Gray Harford-Battersby by Act of Parliament on inheriting his kinsman William Battersby's estate.1 He lived at Stoke House, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1
