     Helen Christine Cassavetti was born circa 1921.2 She was the daughter of Alexander John Cassavetti.3 She married Hon. Christopher Alers Hankey, son of Maurice Pascal Alers Hankey, 1st Baron Hankey and Adeline Hermine Gertrude Ernestine de Smidt, on 5 September 1958.1 She died on 1 February 2018.2
     From 5 September 1958, her married name became Hankey.

     Hon. Henry Arthur Alers Hankey was born on 1 September 1914.1 He was the son of Maurice Pascal Alers Hankey, 1st Baron Hankey and Adeline Hermine Gertrude Ernestine de Smidt.2 He married Vronwy Mary Fisher, daughter of Reverend Thomas Frederic Fisher, on 1 January 1941.1 He died on 27 August 1999 at age 84.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1935 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was with the Foreign Office between 1937 and 1969.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1959.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1960.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Panama between 1966 and 1969.1 He held the office of Under-Secretary, Foreign and Commonwealth Office between 1969 and 1974.1 He wrote the book Archaeology: artifacts and artification, published 1985.1
