     Maude Clazey was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Oswald Clazey.2 She married Lt.-Col. Claud Alexander, son of Sir Claud Alexander of Ballochmyle, 2nd Bt. and Rachel Belasyse Holden, on 1 February 1928.1 She died on 23 March 1936.1
      From 1 February 1928, her married name became Alexander.

     Maj.-Gen. John Oswald Claud Alexander was born on 23 March 1936.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Claud Alexander and Maude Clazey.2 He married Mary Jean Birkett, daughter of Colonel Derek Grant Birkett, on 22 December 1962.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1974.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1991.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Royal Signals.1
