Walter Frederick Campbell Gordon-Cumming1

     Walter Frederick Campbell Gordon-Cumming was born on 16 July 1859.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Alexander Penrose Gordon-Cumming of Altyre, 3rd Bt. and Anne Pitcairn Campbell.2 He died on 20 February 1913 at age 53.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Bengal Native Infantry.1 He fought in the Central Africa Campaign between 1894 and 1898, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1
