Patience Laura Green-Price was born on 16 September 1898.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Herbert Chase Green-Price and Susan Alice Barneby.2 She married Major Robert King Holmes, son of Lt.-Col. R. A. K. Holmes, on 20 April 1927.1 She died on 13 October 1988 at age 90.1
