     William Henry Heathcote was born on 29 May 1797.1 He was the son of Sir Gilbert Heathcote, 4th Bt. and Lady Catherine Sophia Manners.2 He married Sophia Matilda Wright, daughter of Thomas Wright and Sophia Frances Chaplin, on 17 December 1833.1 He died on 17 October 1880 at age 83, without issue.1
     He lived at North Luffenham Hall, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.3
