     Commander Ralph Hawtrey Deane was born on 26 May 1884 at Newton Abbot, Devon, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Ralph Hawtrey Deane. He married, secondly, E. F. (?) on 26 May 1965.2 He died on 30 December 1966 at age 82 at The Well House, Collington Lane West, Cooden, Sussex, EnglandG.2
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     Margaret Phyllis Runge was the daughter of Julius Joseph Runge and Norah Cecil Hasluck.2 She married Niall Malcolm Stewart Macpherson, 1st and last Baron Drumalbyn, son of Sir Thomas Stewart Macpherson and Helen Cameron, on 27 July 1937.1 She died on 13 August 1979.1
     From 27 July 1937, her married name became Macpherson.
