     Brig.-Gen. Frederick Fitzhugh Lance is the son of General Sir Frederick Lance.2 He married Gladys Maud Lutwyche Waterlow, daughter of Sir Philip Hickson Waterlow, 2nd Bt. and Amy Grace Lutwyche, on 26 July 1910.1
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Indian Army.1

     Martha Carter was the daughter of Robert Carter.2 She married Sir Edgar Lutwyche Waterlow, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Philip Hickson Waterlow, 2nd Bt. and Amy Grace Lutwyche, on 6 June 1896.1 She and Sir Edgar Lutwyche Waterlow, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1913.1 She died on 25 January 1963.1
     Martha Carter also went by the nick-name of Pattie.1 From 6 June 1896, her married name became Waterlow.

     From 8 May 1913, her married name became Waterlow.
