     Mary Haughton Jackson was born on 5 February 1778 at Spring Estate, Hanover, Jamaica.2 She was the daughter of Edmund Jackson and Catherine Haughton James.3,2 She married Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt., son of Joseph Feilden and Margaret Leyland, on 30 March 1797 at St. Paul, Covent Garden, London, England.1,2 She died on 9 January 1867 at age 88 at Southfield House, Streatham, Surrey, England.1,2
     From 30 March 1797, her married name became Feilden.

     Montague Joseph Feilden was born on 8 May 1816 at Feniscowles, Lancashire, England.1,2 He was the son of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. and Mary Haughton Jackson.3 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Valentine, daughter of William Valentine, on 8 January 1846 at St. walton, Walton-le-Dale, Lancashire, England.1,2 He married, secondly, Alice Thoume, daughter of James Thoume, on 26 October 1865.1 He died on 17 October 1898 at age 82.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Blackburn between 1853 and 1857.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.1 He lived at The Chain, Preston, Lancashire, EnglandG.1
