     Captain Edward Randall Cubitt was the son of Edward George Cubitt.2 He married Janet Catherine Pelly, daughter of Rev. Canon Richard Arnold Pelly and Margaret Jane Buxton, on 14 October 1913.1 He died on 12 August 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.1
     Captain Edward Randall Cubitt gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 5th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.1 He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.1

     Captain John Noel Pelly was born on 15 June 1888.1 He was the son of Edmund Nevill Richard Pelly and Emma Mary Fowler.2 He married Rosalind Gatehouse, daughter of R. G. Gatehouse, on 22 January 1924.1 He died on 6 June 1945 at age 56, on active service.1
     Captain John Noel Pelly was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1 He was a Younger Brother of Trinity House in 1927.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
