     Sir Peter Dupree, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Dupree, of Craneswater, Portsmouth, co. Southampton [U.K., 1921] on 11 August 1976.¹ He lived in 2003 at 15 Hayes Close, Chelmsford, Essex, England.¹

     Joan Hunt was the daughter of Captain James Desborough Hunt.² She married Sir Peter Dupree, 5th Bt., son of Sir Victor Dupree, 4th Bt. and Margaret Cross, on 1 February 1947.¹ She died on 14 January 2000.¹
     From 1 February 1947, her married name became Dupree.

     Sir William Thomas Dupree, 1st Bt. was born on 4 September 1865.¹ He was the son of William Dupree.² He married, firstly, Mary Groves, daughter of George Groves, on 26 March 1878.¹ He married, secondly, Marion Price, daughter of John Price, on 18 September 1909.³ He died on 2 March 1933 at age 67.³

     Sir William Dupree, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 March 1882.¹ He was the son of Sir William Thomas Dupree, 1st Bt. and Mary Groves.² He married Edith Mary Mutimer, daughter of Arthur Aloysius Mutimer, on 7 October 1908.¹ He died on 30 January 1953 at age 70, without issue.¹
     Sir William Dupree, 2nd Bt. was educated at Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Wessex Field Brigade, Royal Artillery.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Dupree, of Craneswater, Portsmouth, co. Southampton [U.K., 1921] on 2 March 1933.¹ He was president of the Royal Agriculture Society between 1939 and 1946.¹ He was chairman and managing director of Portsmouth and Brighton United Breweries.¹
