     Sir James Dunbar of Durn, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 9 January 1665.3 He was the son of Sir William Dunbar of Durn, 1st Bt. and Janet Brodie.2 He married Margaret Baird, daughter of Sir James Baird of Auchmedden.1 He died in November 1737 at age 72.1
     Sir James Dunbar of Durn, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Dunbar, of Durn [N.S., 1698].1
