     Edward Francis Macevoy was born on 5 September 1826.1 He is the son of James MacEvoy and Theresa Meredyth.2 He married Eliza Teresa Burke, daughter of Sir Thomas Burke, on 24 October 1850.1 He died on 10 February 1899 at age 72,.1
     Edward Francis Macevoy was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County -74 Meath 1855.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 County Longford.1 He was educated Camb Univ.1 Lieut 6th Drag Guards (Carabiniers).1 County Meath.1 He lived Tobertynan.1 Jure uxoris of Mount Hazel.1 And Frankford.1 County Galway.1
