     Henry de Vere Stacpoole was the son of William Church Stacpoole and Charlotte Augusta Mountjoy.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Robson, daughter of William Robson, in 1907.1 He married, secondly, Florence Robson, daughter of William Robson, in 1938.1 He died on 12 April 1951, without issue.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1 He was a novelist, playwright and poet.1 He wrote the book The Blue Lagoon.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.).1 He lived at Cliff Dene Bonchurch, Isle of Wight, England.1 He lived at Rose Cottage, Stebbing, Essex, England.1
