     Major Hon. Alan Victor Hare was born on 14 March 1919.² He was the son of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone.² He married Jill Peggotty North, daughter of Frank William Gordon North, on 5 November 1945.² He died on 10 April 1995 at age 76.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Life Guards.² He was with MI6.² He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).³ He was chairman of the Financial Times.²

      From 22 July 1936, her married name became Guinness. From 30 September 1947, her married name became O'Ferrall.

     Judith de Marffy-Mantuana was born on 12 July 1903.^1,2 She was the daughter of Raoul de Marffy-Mantuana.¹ She married William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel, son of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 24 July 1933.¹ She and William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel were divorced in 1945.¹ She died on 15 July 2003 at age 100.¹
      From 24 July 1933, her married name became Hare. As a result of her marriage, Judith de Marffy-Mantuana was styled as Countess of Listowel on 24 July 1933.

     Raoul de Marffy-Mantuana lived Minister Plenipotentiary to Budapest.¹

     Stephanie Sandra Yvonne Wise is the daughter of Sam Wise.¹ She married, firstly, Hugh Currie.¹ She married, secondly, William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel, son of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 1 July 1958.¹ She and William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel were divorced in 1963.¹
      Stephanie Sandra Yvonne Wise also went by the nick-name of Stevie.¹ Her married name became Currie.¹ She was a jazz singer.¹ From 1 July 1958, her married name became Hare. As a result of her marriage, Stephanie Sandra Yvonne Wise was styled as Countess of Listowel on 1 July 1958.
