     He lived at Dromkeen, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 His last will was dated 6 December 1734.1

     Sir Richard Wolseley, 1st Bt. was born in February 1696.2 He is the son of Richard Wolseley and Frances Burneston.3 He married Anne Smith on 25 February 1722/23.2 He married Alice Molyneux, daughter of Sir Thomas Molyneux, 1st Bt. and Catherine Howard, on 5 May 1727. He died on 8 April 1769 at age 73.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlow in 1727.2 He was created 1st Baronet Wolseley on 19 January 1744/45. He lived at Mount Wolseley, County Carlow, Ireland.3
