     Albert de Bolton Peel Steward was born in 1893 at New ZealandG.1 He was the son of William Robert Steward and Beatrice Rose Maud Peel.1 He married Doris Piltcher, daughter of Frederick Piltcher and Alice Helene Green, in 1924.1 He died on 28 November 1946 at Auckland, New ZealandG.1 He was buried on 29 November 1946 at Purewa Cemetery, Auckland, New ZealandG.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the New Zealand Military Forces.1 He was awarded the Military Medal (M.M.)1
