Sir John Dryden, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Erasmus Dryden, 1st Bt. and Frances Wilkes.2 He married, secondly, Anna Parvis, daughter of Henry Parvis.2 He married, firstly, Priscilla Quarles, daughter of James Quarles and Joanne Dalton, on 8 October 1605 at Romford, Essex, England.1,3 He married, thirdly, Honor Bevill, daughter of Sir Robert Bevill, on 3 July 1632.2 He died before 11 November 1658.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dryden, of Canons Ashby, co. Northampton [E., 1619] on 22 May 1632.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northanptonshire.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1634.2

Sir Robert Dryden, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir John Dryden, 2nd Bt. and Priscilla Quarles.2 He died on 19 August 1708, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dryden, of Canons Ashby, co. Northampton [E., 1619] before 11 November 1658.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1667.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1669.2
