     Sir Arthur John Dorman, 1st Bt. was born on 8 August 1848.1 He was the son of Charles Dorman and Emma Page.2 He married Clara Share Lockwood, daughter of George Lockwood, in March 1873.1 He died on 12 February 1931 at age 82.1
     He was founder and chairman of Dorman, Long & Company at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, North Riding, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Dorman, of Nunthorpe, co. Yorks [U.K.] on 21 July 1923.1

     Clara Share Lockwood was the daughter of George Lockwood.2 She married Sir Arthur John Dorman, 1st Bt., son of Charles Dorman and Emma Page, in March 1873.1 She died on 27 January 1933.1
     From March 1873, her married name became Dorman.

     Arthur Charles Dorman was born on 21 April 1874.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur John Dorman, 1st Bt. and Clara Share Lockwood.2 He married Audrey Marguerite Inman, daughter of George Frederick Moore Inman, on 30 June 1909.1 He died on 28 February 1929 at age 54.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1918.1

     From 30 June 1909, her married name became Dorman.

     Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Geoffrey Dorman, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 September 1920.1 He was the son of Sir Bedford Lockwood Dorman, 2nd Bt. and Constance Phelps Hay.2 He married Elizabeth Ann Gilmour-White, daughter of George Gilmour-White, on 22 December 1954.1 He and Elizabeth Ann Gilmour-White were divorced in 1972.1 He died on 2 September 1996 at age 75.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Second World War in the in Egypt and Italy.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1942.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1947 in the King's Own Hussars and 13th/18th Royal Hussars (QMO.)1 He gained the rank of Major in 1954.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dorman, of Nunthorpe, co.
