Reverend Havilland de Sausmarez was born in 1813.1 He was the son of Thomas Saumarez and Martha Dobrée.2 He married, secondly, Anne Priaulx Walters, daughter of Reverend Nicholas Walters.3 He married, firstly, Hon. Elizabeth Spencer, daughter of Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood, on 23 July 1850.1 He died on 17 April 1882.1

Hon. Elizabeth Spencer was the daughter of Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood.2 She married Reverend Havilland de Sausmarez, son of Thomas Saumarez and Martha Dobrée, on 23 July 1850.1 She died on 12 September 1858.1
