     Reverend Richard Chaloner Cobbe was born circa 1727.3 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Richard Chaloner Cobbe and Mary Godolphin.2 He married Ann Ferne circa 1754 at St. Michael's Church, Winchester, Hampshire, England.3 He died in 1767.3
     Reverend Richard Chaloner Cobbe was Chaplain to Most Rev. Charles Cobbe (his uncle).3

     Charles Cobbe gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1797 in the service of the Royal Navy.1
