     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Fusiliers.1

     From 16 November 1905, her married name became Browne-Clayton.

Robert Clayton Browne-Clayton and Mary Magdalene Wienholt.2 He married Janet Maitland Bruce Jardine, daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Bruce Jardine, on 23 October 1935.1 He died on 3 September 1971 at age 64.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of between 1926 and 1947 in the 12th Royal Lancers.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He lived at Browne's Hill, County Galway, IrelandG.1 He lived at Cashel House, County Galway, IrelandG.1

     Annette Mary Browne-Clayton was born on 28 April 1908.1 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Robert Clayton Browne-Clayton and Mary Magdalene Wienholt.2 She married Colonel Sir Andrew Marshall Horsbrugh-Porter, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Scott Horsbrugh-Porter, 2nd Bt. and Elaine Maud Jefferies, on 21 April 1933.1 She died in 1992.
     Annette Mary Browne-Clayton usually went by her middle name of Mary.3 From 21 April 1933, her married name became Horsbrugh-Porter.

     General Sir John Low was born in 1788 at Chatto, Cupar, Fife, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Robert Low and unknown Malcolm.2 He married Augusta Ludlow Shakespear, daughter of John Talbot Shakespear and Amelia Thackeray, on 10 April 1829 at Mussoorie, Bengal, India.3 He died in 1880.1
