     Emmeline Harriet Matthews was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Robert Matthews.2 She married Thomas Arthur Clarke, son of Thomas Clarke and Elizabeth Ruddell, in 1927.1 She died circa 1962.1
     She lived at Springfort Hall.1 From 1927, her married name became Clarke.

     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was a manager of WD & HO Wills tobacco factory.2 He lived in 1911 at Elsbridge, Keynsham, Somerset, EnglandG.2 In 1923 he presented Allerton Hall to the City of Liverpool in memory of his father.1 He lived at Kinloch Forest, Sutherland, ScotlandG.1 He lived at Tracy Park, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1
