Michael Joseph Chevers was born in October 1827.1 He was the son of John Chevers and Eleanor MacDonnell.2 He married Annie ffrench, daughter of Hon. Martin ffrench and Margaret Bodkin, on 10 July 1865.1 He died on 10 April 1889 at age 61.1
He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1860.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.1 He lived at Killyan, County Galway, IrelandG.1

Annie ffrench was the daughter of Hon. Martin ffrench and Margaret Bodkin.2,3 She married Michael Joseph Chevers, son of John Chevers and Eleanor MacDonnell, on 10 July 1865.1 She died on 3 October 1898.1
