     Captain Hastings Dent was the son of John Dent.2 He married Lady Beaujolois Eleanora Catherine Bury, daughter of Charles William Bury, 2nd Earl of Charleville and Harriet Charlotte Beaujolais Campbell, on 30 June 1853.1 He died on 7 June 1864.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1
