     Robert Burrowes was born on 19 March 1810.¹ He was the son of Major Thomas Burrowes and Susan Seward.² He married Anna Frances Carden, daughter of John Carden and Ann Rutter, on 16 October 1838.¹ He was also reported to have been married on 13 October 1838.³ He died on 4 December 1881 at age 71.¹
     Robert Burrowes was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cavan in 1838.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cavan.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cavan.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan between 1855 and 1857.¹ He lived at Stradone House, County Cavan, Ireland.¹

     James Edward Burrowes was born on 23 November 1820.¹ He was the son of Major Thomas Burrowes and Susan Seward.² He married Mary Anne Nesbitt, daughter of John Nesbitt, on 4 July 1854.¹ He died on 16 November 1860 at age 39,.¹
     James Edward Burrowes graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1844 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹

     Mary Anne Nesbitt is the daughter of John Nesbitt.² She married James Edward Burrowes, son of Major Thomas Burrowes and Susan Seward, on 4 July 1854.¹
     Mary Anne Nesbitt lived at Lismore, Crossdoney, County Cavan, Ireland.¹ From 4 July 1854, her married name became Burrowes.

     Thomas Cosby Burrowes was born on 22 November 1856.¹ He was the son of James Edward Burrowes and Mary Anne Nesbitt.² He married Hon. Anna Frances Maxwell, daughter of Hon. Richard Thomas Maxwell, on 15 April 1885.¹ He died on 20 February 1925 at age 68,.¹

     Hon. Anna Frances Maxwell was the daughter of Hon. Richard Thomas Maxwell.² She married Thomas Cosby Burrowes, son of James Edward Burrowes and Mary Anne Nesbitt, on 15 April 1885.¹ She died on 5 April 1837.¹
     From 15 April 1885, her married name became Burrowes.

     Eleanor Mary Cosby Burrowes was born on 19 July 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Cosby Burrowes and Hon. Anna Frances Maxwell.² She died on 3 May 1962 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     Eleanor Mary Cosby Burrowes was with Voluntary Aid Detachment during the First World War.¹ She lived at Lismore, Crossdoney, County Cavan, Ireland.¹

     Major Shuckburgh Upton Lucas-Clements was the son of Theophilus Lucas-Clements and Agnes Jane Sterling.² He married Rosamund Charlotte Cosby Burrowes, daughter of Thomas Cosby Burrowes and Hon. Anna Frances Maxwell, on 7 June 1922.¹ He died on 20 February 1960.¹
     Major Shuckburgh Upton Lucas-Clements graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.A.I.).¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹ He lived at Rathkenny, Cootehill, County Cavan, Ireland.¹

     Henry Burrowes was the son of Major Thomas Burrowes and Susan Seward.² He died, young.¹
