     Thomas Freke Crosbie was the son of Maurice Crosbie and Catherine Crosbie.2 He married Catherine FitzGerald, daughter of Thomas Fitzgerald, 18th Knight of Glin and Mary FitzGerald, in 1751.3 He died in April 1751,.4
     Thomas Freke Crosbie lived at Tubrid, County Kerry, Ireland.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).4

     Thomas Fitzgerald, 18th Knight of Glin is the son of Major Gerald Fitzgerald, 17th Knight of Glin and Joan O'Brien.2 He married Mary FitzGerald, daughter of Edmond FitzGerald.3 He died in 1730/31.3
     Thomas Fitzgerald, 18th Knight of Glin succeeded to the title of 18th Knight of Glin in 1689.3 On 12 March 1701 he obtained a Certificate for not having taken part in the wars of King James II, although he was an active supporter of Jacobite cause.3 In 1713/14 he was one of the Catholic nobility of Ireland licensed to carry arms.3

     Katherine Sandes is the daughter of Launcelot Sandes.1 She married Robert FitzGerald, 17th Knight of Kerry, son of Maurice FitzGerald, 14th Knight of Kerry and Elizabeth Crosbie, in March 1770.1
     From March 1770, her married name became FitzGerald.1
