     He lived at Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1730 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of Lieutenant-Govrrnor of Pennsylvania between 1756 and 1759.1
