Harold Brooke Hawke was born on 23 September 1867.¹ He was the son of Edward Henry Julius Hawke, 6th Baron Hawke of Towton and Jane Dowker.² He married Anne Nash, daughter of Thomas Nash, on 9 August 1906 at St. Mary's Church, Braynston Square, Marylebone, London, England.^1,3 He died on 20 July 1913 at age 45, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Leicester Regiment.¹

     Edward Julian Hawke, 8th Baron Hawke of Towton was born on 16 February 1873.¹ He was the son of Edward Henry Julius Hawke, 6th Baron Hawke of Towton and Jane Dowker.² He married Frances Alice Wilmer, daughter of Colonel John Randal Wilmer and Frances Jane Jackson, on 9 October 1900.¹ He died on 4 September 1939 at age 66.¹
     He was Director of the National Bank of India.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Hawke of Towton, co. York [G.B., 1776] on 10 October 1938.²
