     Jane Dowker was the daughter of Henry Dowker.2 She married Edward Henry Julius Hawke, 6th Baron Hawke of Towton, son of Hon. Martin Bladen Edward Hawke and Hannah Nisbet, on 9 July 1857.1 She died on 3 August 1915.1
      From 9 July 1857, her married name became Hawke. As a result of her marriage, Jane Dowker was styled as Baroness Hawke of Towton on 5 May 1870.

Peacock Edwards.2 She married, firstly, Arthur John Graham Cross before 1916.3 She married, secondly, Colonel Martin Bladen Hawke, 7th Baron Hawke of Towton, son of Edward Henry Julius Hawke, 6th Baron Hawke of Towton and Jane Dowker, on 1 June 1916.1 She died on 25 January 1936.1
      From before 1916, her married name became Cross.3 From 1 June 1916, her married name became Hawke. As a result of her marriage, Marjory Nelson Ritchie Edwards was styled as Baroness Hawke of Towton on 1 June 1916.
