     Major John Windham Meade was born on 28 November 1894.¹ He was the son of John Percy Meade and Helena Frances Walsh.² He married Grace Dorothea De Salis, daughter of Sir Cecil Fane De Salis, on 6 February 1932.¹ He died in 1984.¹
     Major John Windham Meade was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.¹ He fought in the Archangel Campaign in 1919.¹ He was Lord of the Manor of Doubles-Earsham.¹ He was Permanent President Field General Courts Martial to 30th and 12th Corps of Hanover District and to British Troops in Berlin.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down in 1956.¹

     Grace Dorothea De Salis is the daughter of Sir Cecil Fane De Salis.² She married Major John Windham Meade, son of John Percy Meade and Helena Frances Walsh, on 6 February 1932.¹ She died on 26 February 1977.¹
     Her married name became Meade.

     
     Sir Cecil Fane De Salis was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).¹

     John Michael Meade was born on 5 September 1935.¹ He is the son of Major John Windham Meade and Grace Dorothea De Salis.² He married Princess Valentine Galitzine, daughter of Prince Nicholas Galitzine, on 23 January 1967.¹
     John Michael Meade was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.¹ He lived in 2003 at Manor Farm House, Hedenham, Suffolk, England.¹

     Francis Windham Meade was born on 24 March 1941.¹ He is the son of Major John Windham Meade and Grace Dorothea De Salis.²
     Francis Windham Meade was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He graduated from London University, London, England, in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).¹

     Theodosia Frances Meade was born on 3 December 1932.¹ She is the daughter of Major John Windham Meade and Grace Dorothea De Salis.²

     Lt.-Col. James Edward Harris was the son of T. J. Clarke Harris.² He married Rose Harriette Theodosia Meade, daughter of John Meade and Elvira Ibbetson, on 28 September 1880.¹ He died on 30 November 1925.¹
     Lt.-Col. James Edward Harris gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Suffolk Regiment.¹

     Captain Roger Hall married Elvira Adela Meade, daughter of John Meade and Elvira Ibbetson, on 4 February 1891.¹ He died on 16 April 1915.¹
     Captain Roger Hall lived at Narrow Water, County Down, Ireland.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹

     Robert Alexander Shafto Adair, 1st and last Baron Waveney was born on 25 August 1811. He was the son of Sir Robert Shafto Adair, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Maria Strode. He married Theodosia Meade, daughter of General Hon. Robert Meade and Anne Louise Dalling, on 11 June 1836.¹ He died on 5 February 1886 at age 74.¹
     Robert Alexander Shafto Adair, 1st and last Baron Waveney was created 1st Baron Waveney, of South Elmham, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 10 April 1873.²
