Sir John Brereton was the son of George Brereton and Sybil Arderne.2 He married Hon. Elizabeth Brabazon, daughter of Edward Brabazon, 1st Lord Brabazon, Baron of Ardee and Mary Smith.1 He died on 1 October 1629.1
