     He fought in the Boer War.1 He was a gold miner at AfricaG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He lived at Skibogue, nenagh, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1
