     Maj.-Gen. Charles Julius Deedes was born circa 1914.1 He was the son of General Sir Charles Parker Deedes and Eve Mary Dean-Pitt.1 He died on 7 May 2005 at York, Yorkshire, England.1
     Maj.-Gen. Charles Julius Deedes gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1
