     John Entwistle was born on 21 August 1744.1 He was the son of John Markland and unknown Entwisle.1 He died, without issue.1
     John Entwistle was baptised with the name of John Markland.1 On 19 June 1787 his name was legally changed to John Markland by Royal Licence.1
