Sir Richard Booth1

     Sir Richard Booth was born in 1626.2 He was the son of Robert Booth and Anne Mosley.2 He married, secondly, Susannah Oxenden, daughter of Sir Henry Oxenden, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Meredith.2 He married, firstly, Mary Potts, daughter of Spencer Potts, in 1657.2 He died in 1680.2
     He was educated at Manchester Grammar School, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.3 He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1649 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.2 He held the office of Judge of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] in 1660.2 He was appointed Knight in 1668.2 He held the office of Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] in 1669.2 He held the office of Chief Justice of the King's Bench [Ireland] in 1679.2

     Susan Booth was born in 1667.2 She was the daughter of Sir Richard Booth and Susannah Oxenden.3,2 She married Sir John Feilding, son of Rev. Hon. John Feilding and Bridget Cokayne.1 She died on 4 January 1715.2
     Her married name became Feilding.
